Use the navigation bar to visualize and understand the current aircraft state. It displays the current aircraft and its high-level status, flight mode, armed/disarmed state, and indicators for pairing, connectivity level, GPS, battery, and remote control.
Mission Control displays important warnings as a message popup at the screen's center top. The aforementioned lets you know about unexpected behaviors and problems. Moreover, whenever possible, the notification will also warn you about the cause of the problem and actions to be taken unless such actions are implied and/or straightforward.
Messages of lower importance and missed warnings are logged and can be viewed by selecting the aircraft icon.
Use the Telemetry Panel, located at the bottom right, to get information about the current flight. There you can visualize the aircraft's speed, altitude, direction of travel, total flight time and distances, and time to get back to the ground station, etc.
Use the map to see the aircraft's current location and where it has been to confirm that the aircraft is going to the desired location according to the planned mission.
The map shows the home position, the current position, and the heading.
You can pan and zoom the map as needed to get a better view (using the normal methods for your ground station - e.g. mouse, or pinch/drag).
Use the video switcher to watch where the aircraft is flying. You can toggle the video switcher to swap the video and map or resize the panel using drag'n'drop on the corner.
