The top bar monitors high-level aircraft states and modes and sets the current aircraft, mode, and armed state.

The connection manager can be accessed by clicking the shield icon on the top-left corner of the screen.

Auterion Mission Control connects to aircraft over a telemetry radio to receive vehicle information, upload/download missions, send flight commands, and video stream.

The Pairing Manager manages telemetry connections for the Firebird radio. It does the first pairing between the ground control and aircraft-based radio modules. Paired aircraft can subsequently be connected to when needed.

Pair and connect the Aircraft

1

Connect to Vehicle

Select the Connect to Vehicle icon in the top status bar.

2

Select Radio

If no vehicles have previously been paired, this will launch the pairing dialog. To select from a bigger list of radios, tap "More Radios...". Select Herelink.

3

Discovering

To pair an aircraft set all settings in the Setup page and select Next. Press the vehicle pairing button on the aircraft three times to put the aircraft into pairing mode (by default the pairing button is the safety switch on the GPS). Now the discovery process starts, this may take a moment. You can also connect it with a USB-C cable.

4

Pairing

When the vehicle is found it will be displayed and can be paired.

5

Successful connection

Once the vehicle is connected the following dialog will be displayed.

6

Disconnect

To disconnect the vehicle click on the connection manager icon on the top bar and then disconnect your vehicle.
